Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
शूरस्तथाप्रतिबलो गौरस्ताल इवोन्नतः । प्रमाणतो भीमसेन: प्रादेशेनाधिको<र्जुनात्
śūras tathāpratibalo gauraḥ tāla ivonnataḥ | pramāṇato bhīmasenaḥ prādeśenādhiko 'rjunāt ||
ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭീമസേനൻ ശൂരനാണ്; അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന് പ്രതിബലം ഇല്ല. ഗൗരവർണ്ണൻ, താളവൃക്ഷംപോലെ ഉയർന്ന് നിൽക്കുന്നു. ഉയരത്തിൽ അവൻ അർജുനനെ ഒരു പ്രാദേശം (കൈപ്പിടി) അധികം കടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
