उच्चावचं दैवयुक्तं रहस्यं दिव्या: प्रश्ना मृगचक्रा मुहूर्ता: । क्षयं महान्तं कुरुसूंजयानां निवेदयन्ते पाण्डवानां जयं च
sañjaya uvāca |
ucchāvacaṃ daivayuktaṃ rahasyaṃ divyāḥ praśnā mṛgacakrā muhūrtāḥ |
kṣayaṃ mahāntaṃ kurusūñjayānāṃ nivedayante pāṇḍavānāṃ jayaṃ ca ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ഉന്നതിയും അധഃപതനവും ബോധ്യമാക്കുന്ന ദൈവബന്ധമായ ആ ഗൂഢരഹസ്യം അവർ വെളിപ്പെടുത്താൻ കഴിവുള്ളവർ. അവർ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് അത്ഭുതകരമായി, പ്രായം ദിവ്യമായ രീതിയിൽ ഉത്തരമിടുന്നു; അതിലൂടെ വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന സംഭവങ്ങളുടെ സൂചന ലഭിക്കുന്നു. ‘സർവതോഭദ്ര’ മുതലായ ചക്രങ്ങൾ പരിശോധിച്ച് ശുഭാശുഭ ഫലങ്ങൾ നിർണ്ണയിക്കുന്നു; മുഹൂർത്തശാസ്ത്രത്തിലും അവർ പണ്ഡിതർ. അവർ ഉറച്ചുപറയുന്നു—കുരുക്കളുടെയും സൂഞ്ജയരുടെയും മഹാ നാശം വരും; ഈ മഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ പാണ്ഡവർ ജയിക്കും।”
