इन्द्रो वा ते हरिमान् वज़हस्त: पुरस्ताद् यातु समरे5रीन् विनिध्नन् । सुग्रीवयुक्तेन रथेन वा ते पश्चात् कृष्णो रक्षतु वासुदेव:
sañjaya uvāca | indro vā te harimān vajrahastaḥ purastād yātu samare 'rīn vinighnan | sugrīvayuktena rathena vā te paścāt kṛṣṇo rakṣatu vāsudevaḥ |
അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വജ്രഹസ്തനായ മഹേന്ദ്രൻ ഹരിതാശ്വാരൂഢനായി യുദ്ധത്തിൽ നിന്റെ മുൻപിൽ ചെന്നു ശത്രുക്കളെ സംഹരിക്കട്ടെ; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ സുഗ്രീവാദി വേഗാശ്വങ്ങൾ ചേർത്ത രഥത്തിൽ വാസുദേവൻ കൃഷ്ണൻ നിന്റെ പിന്നിൽ നിന്നു നിന്നെ കാക്കട്ടെ।
