Drupada’s Counsel on Conciliation and Alliance Mobilization

तत्‌ त्वरध्वं नरेन्द्राणां पूर्वमेव प्रचोदने । महद्धि कार्य वोढव्यमिति मे वर्तते मति:,अतः सभी राजाओंके पास पहले ही अपना निमन्त्रण पहुँच जाय; इसके लिये शीघ्रता करो। मैं समझता हूँ, हम सब लोगोंको महान्‌ कार्यका भार वहन करना है

tat tvaradhvaṁ narendrāṇāṁ pūrvam eva pracodane | mahad dhi kāryaṁ voḍhavyam iti me vartate matiḥ ||

ദ്രുപദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“അതുകൊണ്ട് വേഗം ചെയ്യുക; രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ നമ്മുടെ ക്ഷണം മുൻകൂട്ടി എത്തട്ടെ—വീണ്ടും പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നതിന് മുമ്പേ. എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ മുന്നിൽ മഹത്തായ ഒരു ദൗത്യമുണ്ട്; അതിന്റെ ഭാരമേറ്റെടുക്കാൻ നാം സന്നദ്ധരാകണം.”
