एवमेव कुले जाता: पावकोपमतेजस: । क्षमावन्तो निराकारा: काष्ठेडग्निरिव शेरते

Transliteration

evam eva kule jātāḥ pāvakopama-tejasaḥ | kṣamāvanto nirākārāḥ kāṣṭhe 'gnir iva śerate ||

Translation

അതുപോലെ തന്നെ സ്വന്തം കുലത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച പാണ്ഡവർ—അഗ്നിയെപ്പോലെ തേജസ്സുള്ളവർ—ക്ഷമാശീലരും പുറമേ നിർആഡംബരരുമായി, മരത്തിനുള്ളിൽ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിപോലെ ഗൂഢമായി ശാന്തരായി കിടക്കുന്നു.
