Drupada’s Alarm and Inquiry Regarding Śikhaṇḍinī (द्रुपदस्य भय-विमर्शः)
कस्यचित् त्वथ कालस्य कुबेरो नरवाहनः । लोकयात्रां प्रकुर्वाण: स्थूणस्यागान्निवेशनम्
kasyacit tv atha kālasya kuberaḥ naravāhanaḥ | lokayātrāṃ prakurvāṇaḥ sthūṇasyāgān niveśanam ||
കുറച്ചു കാലം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ നരവാഹനനായ കുബേരൻ ലോകയാത്ര നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് സ്ഥൂണന്റെ വസതിയിലെത്തി.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse implies that status and wealth do not exempt one from duty: Kubera himself follows an ordained routine (lokayātrā), suggesting that rightful order is maintained through responsible action rather than mere possession.
Bhīṣma narrates that, after some time, Kubera undertook his circuit of the worlds and arrived at the residence of a figure named Sthūṇa, setting up the next episode connected with this visit.
