ततः सूतो मम सुहृच्छरवर्षेण ताडित: । अपयातो रथोपस्थान्मनो मम विषादयन्,उस समय मेरा प्रिय सुहद् सारथि बाणवर्षासे पीड़ित हो मेरे मनको विषादमें डालता हुआ रथकी बैठकसे नीचे गिर गया
tataḥ sūto mama suhṛccharavarṣeṇa tāḍitaḥ | apayāto rathopasthān mano mama viṣādayan |
അപ്പോൾ എന്റെ പ്രിയ ഹിതൈഷിയായ സാരഥി അമ്പുവർഷത്തിൽ താഡിതനായി രഥാസനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് താഴെ വീണു; അത് എന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ വിഷാദത്തിലാഴ്ത്തി।
