ततो वै सहसोत्थाय रामो मामभ्यवर्तत । पुनर्युद्धाय कौरव्य विद्वल: क्रोधमूरच्च्छित:,कुरुनन्दन! इसी समय परशुरामजी सहसा उठकर क्रोधसे मूर्च्छित एवं विह्नल हो पुनः युद्धके लिये मेरे समीप आये

tato vai sahasotthāya rāmo mām abhyavartata | punar yuddhāya kauravya vidvalaḥ krodha-mūrcchitaḥ ||

അതിനുശേഷം രാമൻ (പരശുരാമൻ) പെട്ടെന്ന് എഴുന്നേറ്റ്, വീണ്ടും യുദ്ധത്തിനായി എന്റെ നേരെ മുന്നേറി. ഹേ കൗരവ്യ, ക്രോധം മൂലം അവൻ മൂർച്ച്ഛിതനായതുപോലെയും വിഹ്വലനായതുപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു.
