आख्यानमिन्द्रविजयं य इदं नियत: पठेत् । धूतपाप्मा जितस्वर्ग: परत्रेह च मोदते,जो पुरुष नियमपरायण हो इस इन्द्रविजय नामक उपाख्यानका पाठ करता है, वह पापरहित हो स्वर्गपर विजय पाता तथा इहलोक और परलोकमें भी सुखी होता है
ākhyānam indravijayaṃ ya idaṃ niyataḥ paṭhet | dhūtapāpmā jitasvargaḥ paratreha ca modate ||
നിയമനിഷ്ഠയോടെ ‘ഇന്ദ്രവിജയം’ എന്ന ഈ ഉപാഖ്യാനം പാരായണം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ പാപം നീങ്ങി ശുദ്ധനാകുന്നു; സ്വർഗ്ഗം ജയിക്കുകയും ഇഹലോകത്തിലും പരലോകത്തിലും ആനന്ദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു।
