एवं ब्रुवाणो गान्धारे रामो मां सत्यविक्रम: । शरब्रातेन महता सर्वतः प्रत्यवारयत्,गान्धारीनन्दन! ऐसा कहते हुए सत्यपराक्रमी परशुरामजीने मुझे सब ओरसे अपने बाणोंके महान् समुदायद्वारा आवृत कर लिया
evaṁ bruvāṇo gāndhāre rāmo māṁ satyavikramaḥ | śaravrātena mahatā sarvataḥ pratyavārayat ||
ഗാന്ധാരീനന്ദന! ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ സത്യവിക്രമനായ രാമൻ (പരശുരാമൻ) മഹത്തായ അമ്പുകളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തോടെ എന്നെ എല്ലാടവും വളഞ്ഞു തടഞ്ഞു.
