यच्चापि कत्थसे राम बहुश: परिषत्सु वै । निर्जिता: क्षत्रिया लोके मयैकेनेति तच्छूणु,“राम! आप जो बहुत बार भरी सभाओंमें अपनी प्रशंसाके लिये यह कहा करते हैं कि मैंने अकेले ही संसारके समस्त क्षत्रियोंको जीत लिया था तो उसका उत्तर सुन लीजिये

yaccāpi katthase rāma bahuśaḥ pariṣatsu vai | nirjitāḥ kṣatriyā loke mayaikene iti tac chṛṇu ||

ഹേ രാമാ! നീ പലവട്ടം ജനസമൂഹങ്ങളിൽ ഗർവത്തോടെ ‘ഞാൻ ഒരുത്തൻ മാത്രം ലോകത്തിലെ എല്ലാ ക്ഷത്രിയരെയും ജയിച്ചു’ എന്നു പറയുന്നതിന്റെ മറുപടി ഇപ്പോൾ കേൾക്കുക.
