Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
विभ्रृंशिता त्वया हीयं धर्मादास्ते यशस्विनी । परामृष्टां त्वया हीमां को हि गन्तुमिहाहति,तुमने इस यशस्विनी राजकुमारीको धर्मसे भ्रष्ट कर दिया है। तुम्हारे द्वारा इसका स्पर्श कर लिया गया है, ऐसी दशामें इसे दूसरा कौन ग्रहण कर सकता है?
vibhraṁśitā tvayā hīyaṁ dharmād āste yaśasvinī | parāmṛṣṭāṁ tvayā hīmāṁ ko hi gantum ihārhati ||
നീ ഈ യശസ്വിനിയായ രാജകുമാരിയെ ധർമ്മപഥത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തെറ്റിച്ചു. നിന്റെ സ്പർശം അവൾക്കേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ ആയാൽ ഇവിടെ അവളെ മറ്റാരാണ് സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ യോഗ്യൻ?
