राजपुत्र्या: प्रकृत्या च कुमार्यास्तव भामिनि । भद्रे दोषा हि विद्यन्ते बहवो वरवर्णिनि

rājaputryāḥ prakṛtyā ca kumāryās tava bhāmini | bhadre doṣā hi vidyante bahavo varavarṇini ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ഭാമിനി! രാജകുമാരിയും കുമാരിയുമായിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ സ്വഭാവസ്ഥിതിയുടെ കാരണത്താൽ, ഭദ്രേ, വരവർണിനീ, നിനക്കിൽ പല ദോഷങ്ങളും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു.
