Amba approaches the Paraśurāma context; Hotravāhana’s counsel and Akṛtavraṇa’s report (अम्बोपाख्यानम्—रामदर्शनप्रसङ्गः)

क्व सम्प्रति महाबाहो जामदग्न्य: प्रतापवान्‌ । अकृतत्रण शकयो वै द्रष्टर वेदविदां वर:,“महाबाहु अकृतव्रण! इस समय वेददवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ और प्रतापी जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामजीका दर्शन कहाँ हो सकता है?”

kva samprati mahābāho jāmadagnyaḥ pratāpavān | akṛtavraṇa śakyo vai draṣṭuṃ vedavidāṃ varaḥ ||

ഹോത്രവാഹനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ മഹാബാഹു അകൃതവ്രണാ! ഈ സമയത്ത് വേദവിദ്വാന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനും പ്രതാപശാലിയുമായ ജാമദഗ്ന്യനെ (പരശുരാമനെ) എവിടെ ദർശിക്കാം?”
