लोकवीरीौ महेष्वासौ त्यक्तात्मानौ च भारत | प्रत्ययं परिरक्षन्ती महत्‌ कर्म करिष्यत:

Transliteration

lokavīrau maheṣvāsau tyaktātmānau ca bhārata | pratyayaṁ parirakṣantau mahat karma kariṣyataḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ ഭാരതാ! ആ രണ്ടുപേരും ലോകവിഖ്യാത വീരന്മാർ, മഹാധനുർധരന്മാർ; സ്വയം മറന്ന് യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യും. പ്രതിജ്ഞാബദ്ധമായ വിശ്വാസവും മാനവും കാത്തുകൊണ്ട്, ശരീരത്തെ പരിഗണിക്കാതെ രണഭൂമിയിൽ മഹത്തായ വീര്യം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കും.
