क्रोधस्तेजश्न॒ तपसा सम्भूतो55श्रमवासिनाम् | द्रोणेनानुगृहीतश्न दिव्यैरस्त्रैरुदारधी:
krodhas tejaś ca tapasā sambhūto 'śramavāsinām | droṇenānugṛhītaś ca divyair astrair udāradhīḥ ||
ഇവനിൽ ക്രോധമുണ്ട്, തേജസ്സുണ്ട്; ആശ്രമവാസികളായ മഹർഷിമാരുടെ തപസ്സിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന തപോബലവും സമ്പാദിതമായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. ഇവന്റെ ബുദ്ധി ഉദാരമാണ്; ദ്രോണാചാര്യൻ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ച് ദിവ്യാസ്ത്രങ്ങളുടെ സമ്പൂർണ്ണ വിജ്ഞാനം അവനു പകർന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.
