पिता त्वस्य महातेजा वृद्धो5पि युवभिर्वर: । रणे कर्म महत् कर्ता अत्र मे नास्ति संशय:
pitā tv asya mahātejā vṛddho 'pi yuvabhir varaḥ | raṇe karma mahat kartā atra me nāsti saṁśayaḥ ||
അവന്റെ പിതാവ് മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ള ദ്രോണാചാര്യനാണ്. അദ്ദേഹം വൃദ്ധനായിട്ടും യുവാക്കളെക്കാൾ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ. ഈ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം മഹത്തായ കർമ്മങ്ങൾ നിർവഹിക്കും—ഇതിൽ എനിക്ക് സംശയമില്ല.
