bhīṣma uvāca | śakunir mātulas te ’sau rathī eko narādhipa | prayujya pāṇḍavair vairam yotsyate nātra saṁśayaḥ ||

Translation

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ നരാധിപാ! നിന്റെ മാതുലനായ ശകുനി ഒരു രഥിയാണ്. പാണ്ഡവരോടു വൈരം കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ച് അവൻ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യും; ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല.
