Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 165 — Bhīṣma’s Appraisal and Karṇa’s Rebuttal (भीष्म–कर्ण विवादः)

तरुणौ सुकुमारौ च राजपुत्रौ तरस्विनौ | युद्धानां च विशेषज्ञौ प्रणेतारी च सर्वश:,ये दोनों तरुण और सुकुमार राजपुत्र बड़े वेगशाली हैं, अनेक युद्धोंके विशेषज्ञ हैं और सब प्रकारसे सेनानायक होनेयोग्य हैं

taruṇau sukumārau ca rājaputrau tarasvinau | yuddhānāṃ ca viśeṣajñau praṇetārī ca sarvaśaḥ ||

ആ രണ്ടു രാജകുമാരന്മാർ യുവാക്കളും സുകുമാരദർശനരുമാണ്; എങ്കിലും അത്യന്തം വീര്യവാന്മാർ. യുദ്ധകലകളിൽ വിദഗ്ധരും, എല്ലാതരത്തിലും സേനാനായകരാകാൻ യോഗ്യരുമാണ്.
