भीष्मस्य सेनापत्यप्रतिज्ञा तथा रथसंख्यावर्णनम् | Bhishma Accepts Command and Enumerates Kaurava Strength
अधर्मज्ञो नित्यवैरी पापबुद्धिर्नुशंसकृत् । सत्यां प्रतिज्ञामचिराद् द्रक्ष्यसे तां सुयोधन,'सुयोधन! क्रोधमें भरे हुए भीमसेनने उस क्षुद्र विचारवाले, अधर्मज्ञ, नित्य वैरी, पापबुद्धि और क्रूरकर्मा तेरे भाई दुःशासनके प्रति जो बात कही है, उस प्रतिज्ञाको तू शीघ्र ही सत्य हुई देखेगा

സുയോധനാ! അധർമ്മം അറിയാത്തവൻ, നിത്യവൈരി, പാപബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ, ക്രൂരകൃത്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ—അവനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഭീമസേനൻ എടുത്ത പ്രതിജ്ഞ നീ ഉടൻ തന്നെ സത്യമായിത്തീരുന്നത് കാണും.
