प्रेषितश्नह्वषीकेश: शमाकाड्क्षी कुरून् प्रति । कुलस्य हितकामेन धर्मराजेन धीमता,“बुद्धिमान् धर्मराजने कौरवकुलके हितकी इच्छासे शान्ति चाहनेवाले भगवान् श्रीकृष्णको कौरवोंके पास भेजा था
sañjaya uvāca | preṣitaś ca hṛṣīkeśaḥ śamākāṅkṣī kurūn prati | kulasya hitakāmena dharmarājena dhīmatā ||
കുരുകുലത്തിന്റെ ഹിതം ആഗ്രഹിച്ച്, സമാധാനം തേടുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമാനായ ധർമ്മരാജൻ ഹൃഷീകേശനായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനെ കൌരവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ദൂതനായി അയച്ചിരുന്നു.
