मदद्वितीयेन पार्थन वैरं व: सव्यसाचिना । स सत्यसंगरो भूत्वा पाण्डवार्थे पराक्रमी,“तुमने यह भी कहा था कि '“कौरवो! मैं जिनका सहायक हूँ, उन्हीं सव्यसाची अर्जुनके साथ तुम्हारा वैर बढ़ रहा है, इत्यादि। अतः अब सत्यप्रतिज्ञ होकर पाण्डवोंके लिये पराक्रमी बनो
mad-dvitīyena pārthān vai raṁ vaḥ savyasācinā | sa satya-saṅgaro bhūtvā pāṇḍavārthe parākramī ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ പൃഥാപുത്രന്മാരേ! എന്നെ രണ്ടാമനാക്കി നിർത്തിയിട്ടും സവ്യസാചി അർജുനനോടുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ വൈരം വർധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് സത്യസങ്കൽപനായ് പാണ്ഡവരുടെ കാര്യമെന്നോർത്തു പരാക്രമികളാകുവിൻ.”
