Kaurava Mobilization at Kurukṣetra (Duryodhana Orders War Preparations) / कुरुक्षेत्रे धार्तराष्ट्र-सैन्यसज्जा
तासां ये पतयः सप्त विख्यातास्तान् निबोधत । द्रुपदश्न विराटश्न धृष्टदुम्नशिखण्डिनौ,“इन सातों अक्षौहिणियोंके जो सात विख्यात सेनापति हैं, उनके नाम बताता हूँ, सुनो। द्रुपद, विराट, धृष्टद्युम्न, शिखण्डी, सात्यकि, चेकितान और पराक्रमी भीमसेन। ये सभी वीर हमारे लिये अपने शरीरका भी त्याग कर देनेको उद्यत हैं; अतः ये ही पाण्डवसेनाके संचालक होनेयोग्य हैं

drupadaś ca virāṭaś ca dhṛṣṭadyumnaś śikhaṇḍī ca |

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ ഏഴ് സേനകളുടെ പ്രസിദ്ധരായ ഏഴ് അധിപന്മാരെ കേൾക്കുവിൻ: ദ്രുപദനും വിരാടനും, ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നനും ശിഖണ്ഡിയും.
