सेनापति-निर्णयः तथा पाण्डवसेनायाः कुरुक्षेत्रगमनम्

यदत्र युक्त प्राप्त च तद्‌ विधत्स्व विशाम्पते । उक्त भीष्मेण यद्‌ वाक्‍्यं द्रोणेन विदुरेण च,प्रजानाथ! अब तुम्हें भी जो उचित जान पड़े, वह करो। भारत! कौरवसभामें भीष्म, द्रोण, विदुर, गान्धारी तथा धृतराष्ट्रने मेरे सामने जो बातें कही थीं, वे सब आपको सुना दीं। राजन! यही वहाँका वृत्तान्त है

Transliteration

yad atra yuktaṁ prāptaṁ ca tad vidhatsva viśāmpate | uktaṁ bhīṣmeṇa yad vākyaṁ droṇena vidureṇa ca, prajānātha! ab tvāṁ api yo 'citaṁ jānīyāt tat kuru | bhārata! kauravasabhāyāṁ bhīṣma-droṇa-vidura-gāndhārī-dhṛtarāṣṭraiḥ mama samakṣaṁ yad uktam, tat sarvaṁ te śrāvitaṁ | rājan! eṣa eva tatra vṛttāntaḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ പ്രജാനാഥാ! ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ യുക്തവും അനിവാര്യവുമായതു ചെയ്യുക. കൗരവസഭയിൽ എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭീഷ്മൻ, ദ്രോണൻ, വിദുരൻ (അതുപോലെ ഗാന്ധാരിയും ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രനും) പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകളെല്ലാം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് പൂർണ്ണമായി അറിയിച്ചു. ഹേ ഭാരതാ! അവിടെ സംഭവിച്ചത് ഇതുതന്നെ; ഇനി ധർമ്മസമ്മതമായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു ശരിയെന്നു തോന്നുന്നതുപോലെ തീരുമാനിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുക.
