यवीयांसं तत: पूरं पुत्र स््ववशवर्तिनम् । राज्ये निवेशयामास विधेयं नृपसत्तम:
yavīyāṁsaṁ tataḥ pūraṁ putra svavaśavartinam | rājye niveśayāmāsa vidheyaṁ nṛpasattamaḥ ||
അപ്പോൾ രാജശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ തന്റെ അധീനത്തിൽ നിന്നു ആജ്ഞ പാലിക്കുന്ന ഇളയ പുത്രൻ പൂരുവിനെ രാജസിംഹാസനത്തിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു।
वायुदेव उवाच
Legitimate rule is entrusted to a successor who is disciplined and responsive to rightful authority; obedience and fitness for duty are presented as ethical qualifications for governance.
