Karna–Krishna Dialogue: Omens and Dream-Signs
यदा द्रक्ष्यसि संग्रामे द्रोणं शान्तनवं कृपम् । सुयोधनं च राजानं सैन्धवं च जयद्रथम्,जब तुम देखोगे कि युद्धमें आचार्य द्रोण, शान्तनुनन्दन भीष्म, कृपाचार्य, राजा दुर्योधन और सिन्धुराज जयद्रथ ज्यों ही युद्धके लिये आगे बढ़े हैं त्यों ही सव्यसाची अर्जुनने तुरंत उन सबकी गति रोक दी है, तब तुम हक््के-बक्केसे रह जाओगे और उस समय तुम्हें सत्ययुग, त्रेता और द्वापर कुछ भी सूझ नहीं पड़ेगा
sañjaya uvāca | yadā drakṣyasi saṅgrāme droṇaṃ śāntanavaṃ kṛpam | suyodhanaṃ ca rājānaṃ saindhavaṃ ca jayadratham ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നീ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ ദ്രോണൻ, ശാന്തനവൻ ഭീഷ്മൻ, കൃപൻ, രാജാവ് സുയോധനൻ, സൈന്ധവൻ ജയദ്രഥൻ ഇവരെ കാണുമ്പോൾ, (അവർ യുദ്ധത്തിനായി മുന്നേറുകയും അവരുടെ ഗതി തടയപ്പെടുന്നതു കാണുകയും ചെയ്താൽ) നീ വിസ്മയത്തിൽ സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും; ആ നിമിഷം സത്യ, ത്രേതാ, ദ്വാപരം—യുഗഭേദം പോലും നിനക്ക് ഓർമ്മയിലുണ്ടാകില്ല.
