Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes that rightful sovereignty and the restoration of order require the awakening and manifestation of one’s inner tejas (splendor/strength) and the willingness to shoulder responsibility for governance.

Śalya addresses a powerful figure praised as the slayer of Daityas and Dānavas, urging him to reveal his true might, gather his energy, and take up the rule of the gods’ realm—an exhortation toward decisive leadership.
