Kuntī’s Message to Kṛṣṇa
नियन्तारमसाधूनां गोप्तारं धर्मचारिणाम् | ईदृशं क्षत्रिया सूते वीर॑ सत्यपराक्रमम्
niyantāram asādhūnāṁ goptāraṁ dharmacāriṇām | īdṛśaṁ kṣatriyā sūte vīra satyaparākramam ||
ഹേ സൂതാ! ക്ഷത്രിയർ ഇത്തരമൊരു വീരനെയാണ് ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്—അസാധുക്കളെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുകയും ധർമ്മം ആചരിക്കുന്നവരെ കാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവനെ; സത്യത്തിൽ അധിഷ്ഠിതമായ പരാക്രമമുള്ളവനെ.
