अचिन्तयन्‌ कंचिदन्यं यावज्जीवं तथा5<चरेत्‌ । एष धर्म: क्षत्रियाणां मतमेतच्च मे सदा

Transliteration

acintayan kañcid anyaṃ yāvajjīvaṃ tathā caret | eṣa dharmaḥ kṣatriyāṇāṃ matam etac ca me sadā ||

Translation

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “മറ്റാരെയും പരിഗണിക്കാതെ അവൻ ജീവിതകാലം മുഴുവൻ ഇതേ രീതിയിൽ തന്നെ ആചരിക്കട്ടെ. ഇതാണ് ക്ഷത്രിയരുടെ ധർമ്മം—ഇതുതന്നെയാണ് എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ ഉറച്ച അഭിപ്രായം।”
