इदं संनिहितं तात समग्र पार्थिवं बलम्
idaṃ saṃnihitaṃ tāta samagraṃ pārthivaṃ balam
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“താതാ, ഇവിടെ സമഗ്രമായ രാജസൈന്യം മുഴുവനായി ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി നിൽക്കുന്നു.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical gravity of political decisions when power is fully mobilized: once the entire royal force is assembled, the responsibility to choose restraint, diplomacy, or war becomes immense because the potential harm is vast.
The narrator Vaiśampāyana informs his listener that the kings’ forces have gathered completely and are standing ready—signaling that events have reached a decisive stage in the Udyoga Parva’s march toward war.
