Gālava Completes the Horse-Gift: Garuḍa’s Counsel and Viśvāmitra’s Acceptance (गालव-विष्वामित्र-सम्बन्धः)
शते द्वे तु ममाश्वानामीदृशानां द्विजोत्तम | इतरेषां सहस्राणि सुबहूनि चरन्ति मे
śate dve tu mamāśvānām īdṛśānāṃ dvijottama | itareṣāṃ sahasrāṇi subahūni caranti me ||
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! നീ ചോദിക്കുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള അശ്വങ്ങൾ എനിക്ക് ഇരുനൂറ് മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളൂ. മറ്റു ജാതികളിലെ അശ്വങ്ങൾ അനേകം സഹസ്രങ്ങൾ എന്റെ അധീനത്തിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.
