Divodāsa–Mādhavī Saṃvāda: Pratardana-janma and Kanyā-niryātana (दिवोदास–माधवी संवादः / प्रतर्दन-जननम् / कन्या-निर्यातनम्)

क्रियतामुपसंहारो गुर्वर्थ द्विजसत्तम | एषा तावन्मम प्रज्ञा यथा वा मन्यसे द्विज,“विप्रवर! इसी तरह आप गुरुदक्षिणाके लिये धनका संग्रह करें, यही मेरी मान्यता है। फिर आप जैसा ठीक समझें, वैसा करें”

kriyatām upasaṃhāro gurvartha dvijasattama | eṣā tāvan mama prajñā yathā vā manyase dvija ||

ഹേ ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! ഗുരുദക്ഷിണയ്ക്കായി ഇനി ഈ കാര്യം സമാപിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ. ഇപ്പോഴത്തേക്ക് എന്റെ ഉറച്ച ഉപദേശം ഇതാണ്; എങ്കിലും ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണാ, നിനക്ക് യുക്തമെന്നു തോന്നുന്നതുപോലെ ചെയ്യുക.
