Uttarā-diśā Māhātmya — Suparṇa’s Praise of the Northern Quarter
Suparṇa–Gālava Saṃvāda
यहीं नागराज अनन्तका निवास तथा आदि-अन्तसे रहित भगवान् विष्णुका सर्वोत्कृष्ट स्थान है ।।
atrānanta-nāgarājasya nivāsaḥ tathā ādy-anta-rahitasya bhagavato viṣṇoḥ sarvotkṛṣṭaṃ sthānam | atrānalasakhasyāpi pavanasya niveśanam | maharṣeḥ kaśyapasyātra mārīcasya niveśanam ||
ഇവിടെയാണ് നാഗരാജൻ അനന്തന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലം; ഇവിടെയുതന്നെ ആദിയും അന്തവും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഭഗവാൻ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ പരമോത്തമ സ്ഥാനവും. ഇതേ ദിശയിൽ അഗ്നിദേവന്റെ സഖാവായ വായുദേവന്റെ നിവാസവും ഉണ്ട്; മരീചിനന്ദനായ മഹർഷി കശ്യപന്റെ ആശ്രമവും ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്.
