यदि ते रोचते सम्यग् भुजगोत्तम मा चिरम् | क्रियतामार्यक क्षिप्रं बुद्धि: कन्यापरिग्रहे,नागप्रवर आर्यक! यदि आपको भी यह सम्बन्ध भलीभाँति रुचिकर जान पड़े तो शीघ्र ही इनकी पुत्रीको ब्याह लानेका निश्चय कीजिये
yadi te rocate samyag bhujagottama mā ciram | kriyatām āryaka kṣipraṁ buddhiḥ kanyā-parigrahe ||
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ഭുജഗോത്തമാ! ഈ നിർദേശം നിനക്കു സത്യമായും ഇഷ്ടമാണെങ്കിൽ വൈകിക്കരുത്. ഹേ ആര്യകാ! കന്യാ-പരിഗ്രഹം (വിവാഹസ്വീകാരം) സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഉടൻ തീരുമാനമെടുക്കുക.
