Virāṭa-sabhāyāṃ Saṃniveśaḥ — Assembly at Virāṭa’s Hall and Kṛṣṇa’s Diplomatic Counsel
समेत्य सर्वे सहिता: सुहद्धि- स्तेषां विनाशाय यतेयुरेव । दुर्योधनस्थापि मतं यथाव- न्न ज्ञायते कि नु करिष्यतीति
sametya sarve sahitāḥ suhṛdbhiḥ teṣāṁ vināśāya yatayerur eva | duryodhanasyāpi mataṁ yathāvan na jñāyate kiṁ nu kariṣyatīti ||
എന്നിരുന്നാലും ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളുടെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും സഖ്യബലവും ചേർന്ന് ശത്രുക്കളുടെ നാശത്തിനായി തീർച്ചയായും പരിശ്രമിക്കും; അതിനാൽ അവരെ ദുർബലരെന്ന് അവഗണിക്കരുത്. പക്ഷേ യുദ്ധത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഉറച്ച തീരുമാനം ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നെ എങ്ങനെ എടുക്കാം? കാരണം ദുര്യോധനന്റെ മനസ്സും ഇതുവരെ വ്യക്തമായിട്ടില്ല—അവൻ എന്ത് ചെയ്യും എന്ന്.
