स्त्रियश्न पुरुषाश्वैव वैष्णवं पदमाप्तुयु: । स्त्रीभिश्व पुत्रकामाभि: श्रोतव्यं वैष्णवं यश:
striyaś ca puruṣāś caiva vaiṣṇavaṁ padam āptuyuḥ | strībhiś ca putrakāmābhiḥ śrotavyaṁ vaiṣṇavaṁ yaśaḥ ||
സ്ത്രീകളായാലും പുരുഷന്മാരായാലും—എല്ലാവരും ഇതു ശ്രവണം ചെയ്താൽ ഭഗവാൻ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ പരമധാമം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാൽ പുത്രകാമനയുള്ള സ്ത്രീകൾ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ യശസ്സ്വരൂപമായ ഈ മഹാഭാരതം നിർബന്ധമായി ശ്രവണം ചെയ്യണം.
