तथा ददर्श पाज्चालीं कमलोत्पलमालिनीम् | वपुषा स्वर्गमाक्रम्य तिष्ठन्तीमर्कवर्चसम्,तदनन्तर उन्होंने कमलोंकी मालासे अलंकृत पाज्चालराजकुमारी द्रौपदीको देखा जो अपने तेजस्वी स्वरूपसे स्वर्गलोकको अभिभूत करके विराज रही थीं। उनकी दिव्य कान्ति सूर्यदेवकी भाँति प्रकाशित हो रही थी
tathā dadarśa pāñcālīṃ kamalotpalamālinīm | vapuṣā svargam ākramya tiṣṭhantīm arkavarcasaṃ ||
അതിനുശേഷം കമലവും ഉത്പലവും ചേർന്ന മാലകളാൽ അലങ്കൃതയായ പാഞ്ചാലരാജകുമാരി ദ്രൗപദിയെ അദ്ദേഹം കണ്ടു; അവൾ തന്റെ ദിവ്യ തേജസ്സാൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗലോകത്തെ തന്നെ ആവിഷ്കരിച്ച്, സൂര്യസമാനമായ കാന്തിയോടെ നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
