Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm
स तीव्रगन्धसंतप्तो देवदूतमुवाच ह । गम्यतां तत्र येषां त्वं दूतस्तेषामुपान्तिकम्
sa tīvra-gandha-santapto deva-dūtam uvāca ha | gamyatāṃ tatra yeṣāṃ tvaṃ dūtas teṣām upāntikam |
അസഹ്യമായ ദുർഗന്ധത്തിൽ വേദനിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ ദേവദൂതനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“നീ ആരുടെ ദൂതനോ അവരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിപ്പോ. ഞാൻ അവിടേക്ക് വരില്ല; ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ തന്നെയിരിക്കും. ഈ കാര്യം നിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കൾക്ക് അറിയിക്കൂ. കാരണം എന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യം കൊണ്ടു ഇവിടെ എന്റെ ഈ ദുഃഖിത സഹോദരന്മാരും ബന്ധുക്കളും അല്പമെങ്കിലും ആശ്വാസം നേടുന്നു.”
