Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm
भीमं च भीमविक्रान्तं प्राणेभ्योडपि प्रियं मम । अर्जुन चेन्द्रसंकाशं यमौ चैव यमोपमौ
bhīmaṃ ca bhīmavikrāntaṃ prāṇebhyo 'pi priyaṃ mama | arjunaṃ cendrasankāśaṃ yamau caiva yamopamau ||
യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭീമവിക്രമനായ, എന്റെ പ്രാണങ്ങളെക്കാളും പ്രിയനായ ഭീമനെ ഞാൻ കാണാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; ഇന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തനായ അർജുനനെയും; യമനെപ്പോലെ അജേയരായ ഇരട്ട സഹോദരന്മാരായ നകുല-സഹദേവരെയും കാണാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. അതുപോലെ ധർമ്മപരായണയായ ദേവി ദ്രൗപദിയെയും ദർശിക്കുവാൻ ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. ഇവിടെ നില്ക്കുവാൻ എനിക്ക് അല്പമെങ്കിലും ഇച്ഛയില്ല; ഇതാണ് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്ന സത്യം.
