स्वर्गे दुर्योधनदर्शनम् | Duryodhana Seen in Heaven

तेषामिदानीं के लोका द्रष्टमिच्छामि तानहम्‌ | कर्ण चैव महात्मानं कौन्तेयं सत्यसंगरम्‌

teṣām idānīṃ ke lokā draṣṭum icchāmi tān aham | karṇaṃ caiva mahātmānaṃ kaunteyaṃ satyasaṅgaram ||

വൈശംപായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇപ്പോൾ അവർ ഏതു ലോകങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിച്ചുവെന്ന് ഞാൻ കാണാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. കൂടാതെ സത്യത്തിൽ അചഞ്ചലനും യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അപ്രതിഹതനും ആയ കുന്തീപുത്രൻ മഹാത്മാവ് കർണനെയും ഞാൻ ദർശിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
