धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा—व्यासोपदेशः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Collapse and Vyāsa’s Counsel
कार्यार्थमुपसम्प्राप्ता देवतानां समीपत: । अनघ! वहाँ नारद आदि समस्त देवर्षि भी उपस्थित थे। पृथ्वीनाथ! मैंने वहीं इस पृथ्वीको भी देखा, जो किसी कार्यके लिये देवताओंके पास गयी थी
kāryārtham upasamprāptā devatānāṃ samīpataḥ | anagha! tatra nārada-ādi-samastadevarṣayo 'pi upasthitāḥ āsan | pṛthvīnātha! aham api tatraiva imāṃ pṛthivīm apaśyam, yā kasyacid kāryasya kṛte devatānāṃ samīpaṃ gatā āsīt |
അനഘാ! ഒരു കാര്യസിദ്ധിക്കായി അവൾ ദേവന്മാരുടെ സന്നിധിയിലേക്കെത്തിയിരുന്നു. അവിടെ നാരദൻ മുതലായ എല്ലാ ദേവർഷിമാരും സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു. ഭൂമിനാഥാ! അവിടെയേ ഭൂദേവിയെയും ഞാൻ കണ്ടു—ഒരു ലക്ഷ്യസിദ്ധിക്കായി അവളും ദേവന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു പോയിരുന്നു.
