उतथ्योपदेशः—राजधर्मः, दर्पनिग्रहः, प्रजारक्षणम्

Utathya’s Instruction: Royal Dharma, Restraint of Pride, Protection of Subjects

स यथानुशशासैनमुत9थ्यो ब्रह्मवित्तम: । तत्‌ ते सर्व प्रवक्ष्यामि निखिलेन युधिछिर,युधिष्ठिर! ब्रह्मज्ञानियोंमें शिरोमणि उतथ्यने जिस प्रकार उन्हें उपदेश दिया था, वह सब प्रसंग पूरा-पूरा तुम्हें बता रहा हूँ, श्रवण करो

sa yathānuśaśāsa enam utathyo brahmavittamaḥ | tat te sarvaṃ pravakṣyāmi nikhilena yudhiṣṭhira ||

യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ, ബ്രഹ്മവിദ്യയിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ ഉതഥ്യൻ അവനോട് എങ്ങനെ ഉപദേശിച്ചുവോ, ആ ഉപദേശം മുഴുവനും ഞാൻ നിനക്കു സമഗ്രമായി ക്രമത്തോടെ പറയാം; കേൾക്കുക।
