सम्मानयेत्‌ पूजयेच्च वाचा नित्यं च कर्मणा । कुर्याच्च प्रियमेतेभ्यो नाप्रियं किज्चिदाचरेत्‌,राजाका कर्तव्य है कि वह सदा अपने जातीय बन्धुओंका वाणी और क्रियाद्वारा आदर-सत्कार करे। वह प्रतिदिन उनका प्रिय ही करता रहे। कभी कोई अप्रिय कार्य न करे

Transliteration

sammānayet pūjayec ca vācā nityaṃ ca karmaṇā | kuryāc ca priyam etebhyo nāpriyaṃ kiñcid ācaret |

Translation

രാജാവിന്റെ കടമ: സ്വന്തം ബന്ധുക്കളെ വാക്കിലും പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും നിത്യമായി ആദരിച്ച് പൂജിക്കുക. ദിനംപ്രതി അവർക്കു പ്രിയമായതേ ചെയ്യുക; അവർക്കു അപ്രീതിയുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഒന്നും ചെയ്യരുത്.
