Chapter 72 — Royal Duty: protection of subjects, taxation, punishment, and appointments
धर्मकार्याणि निर्वर्त्य मड्लानि प्रयुज्य च । ब्राह्मणान् वाचयेथास्त्वमर्थसिद्धिजयाशिष:,पहले संध्या-वन्दन आदि धार्मिक कृत्य पूर्ण करके माड़लिक वस्तुओंका दर्शन करनेके पश्चात् ब्राह्मणोंद्वारा स्वस्तिवाचन कराओ और अर्थसिद्धि एवं विजयके लिये उनके आशीर्वाद ग्रहण करो
dharma-kāryāṇi nirvartya maṇḍlāni prayujya ca | brāhmaṇān vācayethās tvaṁ artha-siddhi-jayāśiṣaḥ ||
ധർമ്മകാര്യങ്ങൾ നിർവർത്തിച്ച് മംഗളവിധാനങ്ങൾ പ്രയോഗിച്ച ശേഷം, ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ട് സ്വസ്തിവാചനം ചൊല്ലിപ്പിക്കുക; ലക്ഷ്യസിദ്ധിക്കും ജയത്തിനുമായി അവരുടെ ആശീർവാദം സ്വീകരിക്കുക।
