राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः
Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures
स एवमुक्तो5ड्रिससा कौसल्यो राजसत्तम: । प्रयत्नात् कृतवान् वीर: प्रजानां परिपालनम्,राजन! बृहस्पतिजीके ऐसा कहनेपर राजाओंमें श्रेष्ठ कोसलनरेश वीर वसुमना अपनी प्रजाओंका प्रयत्नपूर्वक पालन करने लगे
sa evam ukto ’drisasā kausalyo rājasattamaḥ | prayatnāt kṛtavān vīraḥ prajānāṃ paripālanam, rājan |
ഋഷി ഇങ്ങനെ ഉപദേശിച്ചതോടെ, രാജന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ കൗസല്യരാജാവ് വീരൻ വസുമനാ പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ പ്രജകളുടെ പരിപാലന-രക്ഷണത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടു।
