गुप्त: स गौतमेनासीद्‌ गड्रगकूलेडभिरक्षित: । दथिवाहनका पौत्र और दिविरथका पुत्र भी गड़ातटपर महर्षि गौतमके द्वारा सुरक्षित है

guptaḥ sa gautamenāsīd gaḍragakūleḍabhirakṣitaḥ | dadhivāhanakā pautraḥ divirathakā putro 'pi gaḍātaṭapara maharṣiṇā gautamena rakṣitaḥ ||

വാസുദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവൻ ഒളിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു, മഹർഷി ഗൗതമൻ അവനെ കാത്തു; ഗഡ്രഗകുലജനങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവൻ സുരക്ഷിതനായിരുന്നു. ദധിവാഹനവംശജനായ, ദിവിരഥപുത്രനുമായ അവനും ഗഡാ നദീതീരത്ത് മഹർഷി ഗൗതമൻ സംരക്ഷിച്ചു.
