वयं हि भवता सर्वे गुणक्रीता विशेषत: । यस्त्वमात्महितं त्यक्त्वा मामेवेहानुरुध्यसे,आपने हम सब लोगोंको विशेषरूपसे अपने गुणोंसे खरीद लिया है; क्योंकि आप अपने हितकी बातको अलग रखकर मेरे ही कल्याणका चिन्तन कर रहे हैं

vayaṃ hi bhavatā sarve guṇakrītā viśeṣataḥ | yas tvam ātmahitaṃ tyaktvā mām evehānurudhyase ||

നാഗൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗുണങ്ങളാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളെയെല്ലാം, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച്, കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. കാരണം, നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വഹിതം പോലും മാറ്റിവെച്ച് ഇവിടെ എന്റെ ക്ഷേമം മാത്രമാണ് നിങ്ങൾ ചിന്തിക്കുന്നത്.
