हित्वा त्वद्दर्शनं किंचिद् विघ्न॑ न प्रतिपालयेत् । तुल्योडप्यभिजने जातो न कश्रित् पर्युपासते,वे आपका दर्शन छोड़कर दूसरी किसी वस्तुको विघ्न समझते हैं; अतः वह विष्न उन्हें नहीं प्राप्त होना चाहिये। उत्तम कुलमें उत्पन्न हुआ आपके समान कोई सदगृहस्थ अतिथिकी उपेक्षा करके घरमें नहीं बैठता है
hitvā tvaddarśanaṃ kiñcid vighnaṃ na pratipālayet | tulyo 'py abhijane jāto na kaścit paryupāsate ||
നിന്റെ ദർശനാനുഗ്രഹം മാറ്റിവെച്ച് മറ്റൊന്നിനെയും ‘വിഘ്നം’ എന്നു കരുതി പിന്തുടരരുത്; അതിനാൽ ആ വിഘ്നം അവരെ സ്പർശിക്കരുത്. ഉത്തമകുലത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച, നിനക്കു തുല്യനായ സദ്ഗൃഹസ്ഥൻ ആരും അതിഥിസത്കാരം അവഗണിച്ച് വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുകയില്ല.
