अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
वैशग्पायन उवाच जज्ञे बहुज्ञं परमत्युदारं यं द्वीपमध्ये सुतमात्मयोगात् । पराशरात् सत्यवती महर्षि तस्मै नमो5ज्ञानतमोनुदाय
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: jajñe bahujñaṃ paramātyudāraṃ yaṃ dvīpa-madhye sutam ātma-yogāt | Parāśarāt Satyavatī maharṣiṃ tasmai namo’jñāna-tamo-nudāya ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! യമുനാതീരത്തിലെ ഒരു ദ്വീപമദ്ധ്യേ പരാശരമുനിയോടു ആത്മയോഗബലത്തിൽ ദേഹസംയോഗം ചെയ്ത് ദേവി സത്യവതി പുത്രരൂപത്തിൽ പ്രസവിച്ച ആ ബഹുജ്ഞനും പരമോദാരനുമായ മഹർഷിയ്ക്ക്—അജ്ഞാനാന്ധകാരം നീക്കുന്ന ജ്ഞാനസൂര്യസ്വരൂപനായ ഗുരുദേവ വ്യാസനു—എന്റെ നമസ്കാരം।
