Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī

ततस्तौ तपसां वासौ यशसां तेजसामपि

tatas tau tapasāṃ vāsau yaśasāṃ tejasām api | tad-anantaraṃ tapasyā yaśaḥ tejaś ca nivāsasthānaṃ tau śama-dama-sampannau ubhau ṛṣī pūrvāhṇa-kālasya nitya-karma pūrayitvā punaḥ śānta-bhāvena pādya-arghyādīni nivedya nāradaṃ pūjayām āsa tuḥ |

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അനന്തരം തപസ്സിന്റെയും യശസ്സിന്റെയും തേജസ്സിന്റെയും നിവാസങ്ങളായ ആ രണ്ടുമുനിമാർ, മുൻപകൽ നിത്യകർമ്മങ്ങൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കി, ശാന്തഭാവത്തോടെ പാദ്യവും അർഘ്യവും മുതലായവ അർപ്പിച്ച് നാരദനെ പൂജിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
